Chelsea welcomed Hull City at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to earn all three points at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the seventh minute thanks to Morgan Rogers’ effort. Mohamed Belloumi equalised for Hull in the 28th minute before going on to score again just six minutes later. Xabi Alonso’s men were trailing 2-1 at the half-time break.

Joao Pedro scored the all-important equaliser for the Blues in the 66th minute. The contest ended with Chelsea securing a hard-fought 2-2 draw in front of their home fans.

He came back to defend when he could and caused a few problems for the opposition defenders.

CM: Reece James – 7/10

James anchored the midfield well and was not shy of having a strike at goal.

CM: Romeo Lavia – 7/10

He made a few crucial interceptions in the middle of the park and one decent run with the ball.

LM: Malo Gusto – 6.5/10

Gusto was solid defensively but lacked quality inside the Hull half.

RW: Cole Palmer – 7/10

He was a real menace in the final third and ended the game with an assist to his name.

Pedro was a handful for the opposition centre-backs and managed to score and create a goal this afternoon.
