Corinthians officially presented right-back Pedro Milans for the 2026 season at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on Saturday afternoon, alongside president Osmar Stabile and football executive Marcelo Paz.
Meu Timao reports that he has signed a three-year contract, valid until December 2029, and will wear shirt number 20 while competing with Matheuzinho.
Milans said he chose Corinthians because he has always admired the club, describing it as big, historic and respected in Uruguay. Having played Copa Libertadores this year for Peñarol, he wants to contest the competition again with Corinthians and help wherever needed.
The 24-year-old was a free agent from the start of the year after failing to agree a new deal with Peñarol, where he spent four seasons. In 2025 he made 42 appearances and provided two assists. He came through at Juventud de Las Piedras before joining the Montevideo side.
His arrival aligns with Corinthians’ recent focus on free transfers or loans. Before he signed, Matheuzinho’s only cover at right-back was the young João Vitor Jacaré.
Milans now awaits his debut, which could come on Sunday when Corinthians face Velo Clube at 20:30 in the fifth round of the Campeonato Paulista at the Benitão in Rio Claro.
