Lorenzo Pellegrini is waiting to renew his contract with Roma, which expires on June 30th.

The Roma midfielder wants to extend his relationship with the Giallorossi club and hopes to reach an agreement in the next few hours.

The Roma number 7 is an important player for Gasperini, who has pushed for his renewal for next season.

Pellegrini returned to Trigoria this morning. Officially, no meeting is scheduled with the club to discuss his contract renewal (for personal reasons), but a direct meeting with sporting director Tony D’Amico is likely.

At that point, negotiations between the player, his agent, and the club’s management could begin.

To date, this meeting hasn’t taken place; the next few hours will be crucial.
