In addition to the incoming and outgoing transfer market, Roma is also working on contract renewals for those players whose contracts are expiring.
Starting in June 2026, the contracts of Lorenzo Pellegrini, Stephan El Shaarawy, Zeki Celik, and Paulo Dybala will expire.
Of the four, the one eligible for a renewal is number 7.
The former Giallorossi captain – as reported by Il Romanista – could remain at Trigoria.
At Gian Piero Gasperini’s suggestion, Sporting Director Frederic Massara will sit down with the player’s agents.
Nothing is a given; the intention is shared, but at a lower salary than his current salary. Developments will be made in the coming weeks.
Unlike Pellegrini, the situation is different for Celik. The Turk rejected the first offer of a renewal and will likely expire. He will then be free to reach an agreement with another club and leave on a free transfer.
Like him, El Shaarawy. No news on Dybala. “La Joya”‘s contracts also expire at the end of June 2026, but no progress has been made on an extension.
As for those whose contracts run until 2027, the only thing missing is the official renewal of Bryan Cristante and Gianluca Mancini.
