Pepa brings Benfica playmaker Beni Souza to Estrela da Amadora on four-year deal | OneFootball

Pepa's Estrela da Amadora have signed Beni Souza from Benfica on a permanent deal. The club said in a statement that the 22-year-old has agreed a four-year contract to continue his career in Reboleira.

Confirmation followed routine medical tests before the contract was signed. With the move completed, Estrela welcomed the creative midfielder on their official channels.

Born in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Souza arrived in Portugal in 2023 to join Amora, quickly catching the eye. His Liga 3 performances earned a switch to Benfica the following campaign.

He made 11 appearances for Benfica B before a loan to Académica in the summer of 2025. In Coimbra he found regular minutes and assumed a prominent role across the season.

Souza was a leading presence in a campaign that ended with promotion to Liga 2. He featured in 29 games, scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists, form that convinced Estrela to move for him.
