Pepe and Casillas mark FC Porto title on social media | OneFootball

Pepe and Casillas were among the former FC Porto players who hailed the club’s Primeira Liga title on Saturday via social media.

According to O Jogo, Pepe, capped 141 times by Portugal and a Porto stalwart with 290 appearances across two spells from 2004/05 to 2006/07 and 2018/19 to 2023/24, shared the club’s championship post on Instagram.

Iker Casillas, who made 167 appearances for Spain and kept goal for Porto from 2015/16 to 2018/19 after 16 consecutive seasons at Real Madrid, added his congratulations in a comment beneath the title update.

Further tributes came from defenders Zé Pedro, Mangala and Miguel Layún.

Midfielders Sérgio Oliveira and Otávio, and forwards Toni Martínez and Fábio Silva, also highlighted the achievement online.
