The latest surrounding Peterborough United's search for a new manager
Peterborough United are continuing their search for a new manager, after legendary boss Darren Ferguson was dismissed following Posh's 2-1 home defeat to Blackpool last Saturday.
The Scotsman's fourth tenure at the club is over, and this one saw two back-to-back play-off berths in League One and back-to-back EFL Trophy final victories, too. However, poor league form last year has bled into this term, and the basement side are now looking for a new boss.
Ferguson's shoes are big ones to fill at The Western Homes Stadium. Chairman Darragh MacAnthony called him "the greatest manager in the club's history" in his heartfelt statement explaining his decision to sack him.
Many expected that a decision would be made almost immediately on a new boss, but there is currently no white smoke just yet, although it's expected that some will emerge soon.
Here's all the latest in Peterborough's search for a new head coach.

It was exclusively reported by Football League World that Luke Williams, alongside former Northampton Town boss Jon Brady, were in line to take over from Darren Ferguson at The Western Homes Stadium.
That was two days ago, and despite a decision not having been made just yet, it is expected that one will be coming in the next 24 hours, according to a report from the Peterborough Telegraph, and the former Swansea City and Notts County boss is still leading the race.
Williams has been out of work since he left South Wales in February. Prior to that, he helped take Notts back to the EFL in a 107-point National League campaign, and spent a year and a half at Swindon Town in between coaching roles at MK Dons and Swansea City under Russell Martin.
With Ferguson's coaches following him out the door, too, it was expected that a replacement would have been lined up immediately, but Academy coach Ryan Semple took training yesterday and will do so again today, according to the Peterborough Telegraph.
But hopefully there'll be some clarity soon, and Posh can then focus on climbing off the foot of League One.

On his Hard Truths podcast on Monday night, Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony said that he was making "back-to-back calls" with prospective candidates last night.
Whilst one is expected to be Luke Williams, the other is unknown. The clear favourite seems to be the former Swansea boss, but another avenue shouldn't be ruled out.
He also added that he had thoughts of prospective candidates for the last two weeks, indicating that, although a decision he didn't want to make, it was one that he had on his mind for a while, which will make it even more frustrating that no one has been confirmed as yet.
With Peterborough not in League One action for another week, and their FA Cup tie against Cardiff City possibly being seen as a free hit, whoever does come in will have a little more time to put together a plan to get the points necessary to get Posh off the bottom of the division, starting with the visit of AFC Wimbledon.
With a decision set to be made within the next day, it shouldn't be long before Peterborough are looking to get back on the right track.
