A photo of a new custom piece of jewellery set to be gifted to Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has turned heads across social media this week.

This comes with the chain understood to be worth a whopping $400,000.

Wide-man Lamine is for his part currently preparing to put pen to paper on a new long-term contract with Barcelona.

As much will see the 17-year-old’s status as one of world football’s best players recognised later this month.

Central to the deal is expected to be a significant pay raise, placing Lamine amongst the highest earners in Hansi Flick’s squad.

Upon a photo of a new chain coming the way of the Spanish international surfacing online this week, the initial assumption, in turn, was that as much was a purchase to celebrate his new-found wealth.

This, however, is in fact not the case.

Instead, Lamine is set to receive as much as a gift on the part of Dominican music artist ‘El Alfa’.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing the rapper himself by way of a social media post featuring the caption:

‘The best piece for the best soccer player in the world.’
