A pair of new teammates at La Liga giants Real Madrid came together for a brief exchange in the aftermath of Saturday’s World Cup 3rd-place playoff.

England and France of course locked horns for the bronze medal at the World Cup yesterday evening.

When all was said and done in nothing short of spectacular 90 minutes in Miami, it was the former who emerged on the right side of the result, triumphing by six goals to four.

A number of Real Madrid stars featured from the off in the fixture, with Kylian Mbappé having been on target to the tune of a brace.

It was two other Blancos stars, though, who featured front and centre in a photo which has since gone viral in Spain’s capital.

Ahead of joining forces following the latter’s arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu this summer, Jude Bellingham and Ibrahima Konaté were spotted embracing after the full-time whistle between England and France:
