New Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim took charge of his first training session at the club on Monday.
Amorim arrived at the club last week, to officially assume his new role as United boss following the sacking of Erik ten Hag.
A day later, the Portuguese coach was spotted meeting a number of his players who were undergoing rehabilitation including Luke Shaw, Kobbie Mainoo, Mason Mount, Leny Yoro and Toby Collyer,
He was given a tour of Old Trafford on Thursday before holding his first sit-down with the club’s in-house TV channel, MUTV.
In his inaugural address, Amorim promised supporters that he would implement a style of play and a clear identity, which would be visible from day one.
United recently confirmed Amorim’s backroom staff, most of whom received their work permits.
Carlos Fernandes, Jorge Vital, Adelio Candido, Emanuel Ferro and Paulo Barreira will form part of Amorim’s backroom staff at Old Trafford. All five coaches made the move from Sporting to United with Amorim.
Ahead of his first match as the Red Devils head coach on Sunday against Kieran McKenna’s Ipswich Town, Amorim was pictured holding a training session at Carrington on Monday.
In the images, he is seen guiding the players, such as Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton.
According to ESPN, United’s non-international stars such as Marcus Rashford and Casemiro reported back after some time off.
The rest of the squad, who are away with the countries for the ongoing November international break, are expected to return either on Wednesday or Thursday.
Ipswich Town vs. United kicks off on Sunday at 16:30 BST.
