Pisilli hopes to convince Gasperini | OneFootball

Niccolò Pisilli wants to get what the first two matchdays haven’t yet given him: some minutes on the pitch.

Ahead of the match against Torino, Gasperini will once again deploy the Koné-Cristante midfield pairing, the driving force behind the victories over Bologna and Pisa.

Apart from them, the only player the coach has tested is El Aynaoui, reports La Repubblica.

The Giallorossi’s number 61, however, will have to earn his time. His excellent performance in Tuesday’s match against North Macedonia proves it: the midfielder left the pitch exhausted, and Gasperini noted his commitment, appreciating his determination.

The coach, however, wants to first identify the best role for him. A full-back or a midfielder? According to Pisilli, Gasp is considering the same position he highlighted in Bergamo with Pasalic.

Tactical options aside, the desire to restart and clear his mind of the many rumors surrounding his contract renewal remains strong.
