Placar Linhas Aéreas has ramped up charters for Brazilian clubs, and, according to Nosso Palestra, Palmeiras have resumed hiring flights for games outside São Paulo state.
The airline was founded by Palmeiras president Leila Pereira in October 2022 and has pursued expansion since. After ANAC certification in recent months, it has increased operations for Red Bull Bragantino, Mirassol, Vasco and Grêmio among others.
Santos used a Placar aircraft this week to reach Ecuador for a Conmebol Sudamericana match.
Palmeiras could use Placar again on a one-off basis, but the airline's focus remains on expanding services to other Brazilian clubs.
A second aircraft, also an Embraer E190-E2, arrived in Brazil in December and is awaiting clearance for domestic and international operations.
The jet, currently registered PS-YVL, was acquired from an African airline that collapsed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pereira is planning to add a third aircraft to the fleet, seeking a suitable deal to expand charter capacity, chiefly for football teams.
