Plata and Pulgar named in Flamengo squad to face Palmeiras | OneFootball

Flamengo have named their squad to face Palmeiras in round 17 of the Campeonato Brasileiro at the Maracanã on Saturday 23, kick-off 21:00 Brasília time. Headline inclusions are Gonzalo Plata and Erick Pulgar.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the squad features goalkeepers Andrew, Dyogo Alves and Rossi. The defenders are Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira and Vitão, and the full-backs are Alex Sandro, Ayrton Lucas, Emerson Royal and Varela.

The midfielders are Carrascal, De La Cruz, Erick Pulgar, Evertton Araújo, Jorginho, Saúl and Paquetá. The forwards are Bruno Henrique, Luiz Araújo, Pedro, Plata, Samuel Lino and Wallace Yan.

Flamengo have three absences. Arrascaeta is recovering from surgery on his right clavicle, Everton Cebolinha has hip pain, and Danilo is suspended for an accumulation of cards.

Pulgar returns after 51 days out with a shoulder injury. Plata is available again after recovering from knee pain. Flamengo are second in the table on 31 points, while Palmeiras lead with 35.
