Daniel Maldini opened the scoring after two minutes, Armand Lauriente levelled on 35, before Adam Marusic’s 92nd-minute header settled it. Per The Laziali, these were the standout ratings.
Marusic earned 7 for a robust display on the right. Mario Gila received the highest mark, 7.5, excelling with timely interventions and a defence-splitting pass that sent Gustav Isaksen through.
Debutant Edoardo Motta was given 5.5 after hesitant moments and an unconvincing stop from Lauriente’s bouncing shot, though he denied Josh Doig’s rebound and had no chance with the goal. Alessio Romagnoli also received 5.5, unable to block the strike and withdrawn at half-time, possibly through injury.
Fisayo Dele-Bashiru took 6, squandering a clear opening yet repeatedly winning the ball and involved in the late move. Danilo Cataldi earned 6 before a knock, while Kenneth Taylor’s 6.5 reflected steady influence and a clever pass to free Dele-Bashiru early on.
Isaksen, rated 6, impressed early then missed chances and failed to beat Arijanet Muric before coming off. Daniel Maldini received 6.5 for composure in the box and sharp pressing, while captain Mattia Zaccagni’s 5.5 reflected a stop-start, frustrated outing.
From the bench, Matteo Cancellieri, rated 7, curled a fine effort that Muric saved, then delivered the assist. Patric took 5.5 as an emergency regista after Cataldi’s injury, his safe passing offset by errors.
