Plymouth Argyle are one of two clubs eyeing a possible deal for the forward
Plymouth Argyle had a strong second half of the campaign but were unable to break into the play-off places.
The Pilgrims will be looking to fight for promotion next season under Tom Cleverley after coming eighth in 2025/26.
The Devon outfit missed out on a top six finish by just two points despite a horrific first half of the term in which they were at risk of being in a relegation battle.
It promises to be a busy summer ahead at Home Park, with the transfer window now officially open.
While there will be some interest in players like Lorent Tolaj, which risks upsetting the quality of their squad, there will also be incomings sought as well.

It has been reported by Football Insider that Plymouth are keen on a move for Victor Adeboyejo this summer.
The forward is now a free agent following the end of his time at Mansfield Town due to the expiration of his contract.
The 28-year-old joined the League One side in January following his return from injury, having missed almost a full year out.
And now the Pilgrims are interested in a potential deal to bring him to the club after he managed 14 appearances in the third tier.
Adeboyejo contributed one goal and one assist, with Mansfield coming 10th in the table, and will now have his own choice of his next move.
Plymouth also face competition from Scottish side Dundee United, who could offer him a fresh start north of the border.
The 28-year-old has spent his entire career in English football, having come through the Leyton Orient academy system.
Plymouth supporters aren’t too impressed by the possibility of signing Adeboyejo, even with him now available as a free agent.
Supporters are frustrated to be linked with the forward yet again, as his name has regularly popped up as an option for the club.
The Pilgrims have been warned against bringing in the ex-Bolton Wanderers player due to his recent injury record.
While others have waved Dundee United through, hoping that it’ll be with them that he signs for.
The general view across the fans is that the League One side must steer clear of Adeboyejo after his Mansfield stint.
Plymouth will begin their season on 15 August with a home clash against Stockport County.

Plymouth are being linked with a forward amid the speculation surrounding Tolaj’s future, but this would be a real downgrade if Adeboyejo was seen as a replacement.
It’s possible that the 28-year-old could still provide some form of depth up front, particularly as he’d be a cheap option to come into the squad due to being a free agent.
But he’s not a player Cleverley could rely on to play regularly and contribute goals consistently, so it’s definitely not a deal they should prioritise.
And at this stage, given how underwhelming his injury recovery at Mansfield went, Plymouth might be better off avoiding Adeboyejo entirely.
