Wingback Nicola Zalewski has won praise for a lively performance in yesterday’s Serie A clash between Inter Milan and Hellas Verona.
Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, particularly hail the 23-year-old’s pace and dribbling ability on display in the 1-0 win.
Wingback Nicola Zalewski got the start for Inter Milan against Hellas Verona yesterday.
It was the second time that the Polish international has started for the Nerazzurri since arriving on loan in the January transfer window.
Inter coach Simone Inzaghi rotated his team significantly between the two legs of the Champions League semifinal tie against Barcelona. He made a whopping ten changes in total.

And Inzaghi’s changes meant that a number of players got a chance to impress.
Moreover, argues the Gazzetta, Nicola Zalewski was certainly one player who took full advantage of the opportunity.
The 23-year-old proved that he can provide something a bit different down Inter’s left flank.
Zalewski’s trickery and dribbling allowed him to create space for himself to break down the Verona defense.
There were no goals or assists from the Pole. However, the Gazzetta argue, he was one of Inter’s brightest sparks over the ninety minutes.
