Poppy Lawson joins Celtic FC Women | OneFootball

We are delighted to announce the signing of Poppy Lawson, who joins the club following a spell at Hibernian.

The 23-year-old arrives in Glasgow and becomes the latest player to join up with Grant Scott’s Celtic squad.

Lawson’s career started in the Manchester United Academy, representing the club’s Under-21 set-up.

Despite her age, during her time at United, the defender captained the youth side at just 18, leading the team to WSL Academy League success.

A move north of the border soon followed as she signed her first professional contract when she joined Hibernian in 2022.

She made an impact in her time with the club and played her part in Hibs' 2024/25 league title winning season.

She will now be reunited with Grant Scott at the Hoops and will get down to work as the squad's pre-season preparations continue.
