Porto ‘to target’ Fábio Silva as Farioli seeks striker | OneFootball

Porto, under Farioli, are monitoring options to add another forward before the Portuguese window closes at 23:59 on Monday 2 February, mainland Portugal time.

According to Antena 1, Fábio Silva, who came through Benfica’s youth ranks, is being closely followed and is viewed as a priority because of his potential.

Silva belongs to Borussia Dortmund, who paid about €22.5 million in summer 2025 to sign him from Wolverhampton, having previously left Porto for Wolves in 2020 for €40 million.

Porto are exploring ways to do a deal, but it does not look straightforward. Dortmund are not open to a January exit, contrary to what had been expected in December.

The 23-year-old is currently valued at €28 million. This season he has made 21 competitive appearances for Dortmund, totalling 639 minutes, with one goal and five assists.

He featured for Benfica’s under-15s between 2015 and 2017, playing 38 matches and scoring 29 goals.
