Former West Brom youngster Michael Parker, who did not make a senior appearance, is reportedly attracting Premier League and Bundesliga interest after a promising start in Sweden.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, two Premier League clubs, Sunderland and Newcastle United, plus FC Copenhagen and Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, have shown interest in the 21-year-old left back, and a sell-on clause could hand Albion a windfall.
Parker joined Albion in September 2024 after a successful trial, having earlier spells with Burnley, Shrewsbury Town and Huddersfield. He became a PL2 regular, making 40 appearances across two seasons and enjoying two productive spells with Hereford in the National League North.
On the fringes of the first team, he left in February for a permanent move to Swedish top flight side Orgryte IS. He has since played 10 times for a team currently bottom of the Allsvenskan, yet is thought to have impressed.
He made two matchday squads under Tony Mowbray, who in March 2025 praised Parker’s pace, power and left foot, and highlighted Jamal Mohammed’s composure. Parker signed a new deal last summer before departing in February.
