Premier League fixtures released as Alonso starts with London derby | OneFootball

The Premier League have released the fixture list for next season in full, and Xabi Alonso will begin his stint as Chelsea manager with a London derby. 

The Blues will make the short journey to Craven Cottage to face Fulham, who are currently without a manager, on Monday, 24th August.

Arsenal will get their title defence underway in a clash of the champions as they entertain newly-promoted Coventry City, who are managed by Frank Lampard, on Friday, 21st August.

Liverpool kick their campaign off the following day with a trip to Newcastle United for Andoni Iraola’s first game in charge of the Reds.

We won’t have to wait for the first major derby of the new season, with Michael Carrick’s Manchester United hosting Manchester City at Old Trafford on 12th September. City are yet to appoint a replacement for Pep Guardiola, though Enzo Maresca is expected to take the reins.

The final day of fixtures sees Chelsea end the season with another west London derby as Brentford go to Stamford Bridge on 30th May. Arsenal will play host to Brighton, Manchester United welcome Fulham, Liverpool face Bournemouth at Anfield, while Manchester City travel to Sunderland.
