Vinicius Jr.’s contract negotiations with Real Madrid continue to grow more complicated, with Europe’s biggest clubs increasingly monitoring the situation in the hope of securing one of world football’s brightest stars, as per SPORT.
The Brazilian forward and the club are expected to resume talks once the World Cup concludes, although it remains unclear whether discussions will begin immediately after the tournament or once Vinicius returns from his post-competition break.
The main obstacle remains the player’s salary expectations.
Vinicius wants to become the highest-paid player in Real Madrid’s squad, a demand that has widened the gap between the two parties and made an agreement increasingly difficult to reach.

Real Madrid are said to believe they have only a limited window to secure an agreement. If no renewal is reached before Vinicius enters the final phase of his contract, he would eventually gain the freedom to negotiate with other clubs.
It would allow him to secure a substantial signing bonus similar to the one Kylian Mbappe received when joining Real Madrid as a free agent.
As per the report, one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs is preparing a bid worth £137 million (approximately €159 million) for Vinicius and could attempt to sign him this summer.
Although the club has not been identified, the report claims it is one of England’s elite sides.
The report also states that Bayern Munich are closely following developments.
The German champions are considering a move should Real Madrid become willing to negotiate, with speculation even suggesting that Michael Olise could feature in discussions, although Bayern would likely struggle to meet Vinícius’ financial demands.

PSG are also believed to be monitoring the situation and could enter the race if the Brazilian becomes available.
According to the report, Real Madrid intend to make one final contract proposal.
If Vinicius rejects it, the club would be prepared to begin discussions with interested clubs in an effort to sell him before he enters the final stages of his contract, rather than risk losing him for nothing.
Any transfer fee could be reinvested in signing a marquee replacement, with Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise viewed as a leading target.
As negotiations continue without a breakthrough, uncertainty surrounding Vinicius’ long-term future has grown, encouraging several of Europe’s wealthiest clubs to prepare for a potential opportunity.
