Retained lists across the Premier League have confirmed 24 senior players will leave clubs this summer, offering Leeds United potential options.
According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds announced on Wednesday they would wave goodbye to Illan Meslier, with talks ongoing with three other first-team players, as all 20 clubs met the 12pm deadline.
The Premier League then published a full list of first-team and youth departures, with notable names also among those leaving Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Among those released are Adam Webster, 31, a centre-back leaving Brighton, along with Joel Veltman, 34, a full-back, and Solly March, 31, a winger, also leaving Brighton.
Martin Dubravka, 37, a goalkeeper, is leaving Burnley, with Nathaniel Clyne, 35, a full-back, departing Crystal Palace, and Seamus Coleman, 37, a full-back, moving on from Everton.
Leeds could now hold talks with any of those players if they wished to repeat last summer’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin transfer trick. The 24 first-team departures are drawn from the other 19 Premier League clubs.
