Premier League sides learn Carabao Cup opponents as second round draw takes place | OneFootball

The Carabao Cup 2nd round draw took place this evening as Premier League clubs entered the fray, the headline tie being Chelsea v Luton Town.

Other particularly interesting ties include Newcastle United v West Brom and Tottenham Hotspur v Charlton Athletic.

Either Plymouth Argyle or Exeter City will host Coventry City, which, of course, will be confirmed after the result of tonight’s match at Home Park.

The second round will take place the week commencing August 24th, with 22 sides progressing to round three.
