Leeds United’s relegation rivals have been measured for run-in difficulty, with the rankings highlighting who faces the toughest and the softest schedules in the survival fight.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Leeds have seven matches left and are four points above the drop after 31 games despite a four-game goal drought, with two ending 0-0.

United are four clear of third-bottom West Ham, three ahead of fourth-bottom Tottenham Hotspur and one in front of fifth-bottom Nottingham Forest. There is a six-point gap to 14th-placed Crystal Palace, who are three behind both Newcastle United and Bournemouth. Those clubs are on 42 points, a mark that may also be enough for Palace, who have 39.

The analysis rates Crystal Palace as having the hardest run-in, with opponents averaging ninth place, 9.14. Nottingham Forest and Burnley are joint second hardest on an average of 10th, 9.71. Tottenham are fourth on 11th, 10.57, West Ham third easiest on 11th, 11.0, and Wolves second easiest on 14th, 14.14.

Bookmakers think the bottom two, Wolves and Burnley, are already as good as down, with Burnley nine points behind West Ham and Wolves 12 adrift. That still leaves seven sides, if Palace are included, scrapping to stay up.
