The Premier League delivered another weekend of drama as the new season continued to take shape.

Alexander Isak announced himself atLiverpool with a brilliant brace, while Arsenal's leading names stepped up in a hard-fought clash with Chelsea. Elsewhere, there were standout performances from new arrivals and unlikely heroes across the division.

Here is ourPremier League Team of the Week.

Goalkeeper: David Raya - Arsenal

Outstanding after being unsighted for Chelsea's early opener. Raya routinely relieved pressure from Arsenal with commanding claims from crosses and super-sharp sweeping off his line. His late save from Estevao ensured Arsenal claimed the point, a flying stop that was equal to a goal.

Right-back: Ronald Araujo - Liverpool

An impressive full debut for the loanee who locked up Liverpool's problem position at right-back. Liverpool looked far more solid with Araujo in the ranks, and the Uruguayan dominated his duels. One excellent challenge on the cover denied Ipswich a tap-in.

Centre-back: John Egan - Hull City

Hull have surprised everyone with an unbeaten start and battled to another clean sheet against Aston Villa. John Egan symbolised a Hull side still to concede a goal this season, with a brilliant block from Ross Barkley and a terrific tackle to stop George Hemmings in his tracks.

Centre-back: Luka Vuskovic - Brighton

Brighton believe they have pulled off a heist in securing Luka Vuskovic from Tottenham this summer.

The Croatian was terrific in the club's draw with Leeds, offering real presence in both boxes. His first Brighton goal earned his side a point, but it was a lovelyCruyff turn out of pressure that was the real highlight. The kid's going to the top.

Left-back: Tyrick Mitchell - Crystal Palace

Tyrick Mitchell is not a regular goalscorer but netted twice asCrystal Palace edged a London Derby at Fulham. Mitchell made his own luck for the second after taking his first with real class. Palace's most consistent threat throughout from wing-back.

Central midfield: Elliot Anderson - Manchester City

Looks like he's been in theManchester City midfield for years. Anderson has big pressure on his shoulders amid a massive price tag and Rodri's exit, but controlled proceedings against Coventry this weekend.

He led his teammates for touches (176), final third entries (21), fouls drawn (3) and interceptions (2), while retaining 92.3% pass accuracy. Tougher tests await, but this was promising.

Central midfield: Martin Odegaard - Arsenal

The Arsenal captain needed to start the season well, and he has. Odegaard has scored three times in four games to open the campaign, after an emphatic winner to sink Chelsea this weekend. The Norwegian's lashed finish past Emi Martinez was the defining moment of a top performance, in which he regularly picked passes that troubled the visitors.

Right-wing: Tyrique George - Everton

Looks to have earned the trust of David Moyes after an eye-catching start to the season. George had the better of Diogo Dalot during his time on the left, before scoring a stunning firstEverton goal after moving to the right. His thunderous finish was a sign of his increasing confidence.

Left-wing: Cody Gakpo - Liverpool

Cody Gakpo is playing like a player with a point to prove at Liverpool following his near exit this summer. The Dutchman made it three assists from three Premier League games after setting up Alexander Isak's double at Ipswich.

Gakpo's first was fizzed nicely into Isak, before a gorgeous pass with the outside of his boot for the second. That connection is growing nicely.

Forward: Kai Havertz - Arsenal

Continues to justify Mikel Arteta's faith as first-choice forward. Havertz haunted former side Chelsea with a crisp finish inside Emi Martinez's near post, before a smart step-over allowedMartin Odegaard in on goal to score the second.

The German is not a traditional centre-forward, but three goals in four games show he can be the main man.

Forward: Alexander Isak - Liverpool

Is this Alexander Isak's arrival at Liverpool? Few will be getting carried away with a double to down Ipswich, but there was a lot to like at Portman Road. A brilliant brace inside the opening nine minutes all but ended the game as a contest, as Isak showed signs of his old self.
