Premier League transfers so far as Sunderland’s rivals do early business

Premier League clubs have moved quickly in the summer window, while Sunderland are yet to make a signing as they plan for a first Europa League campaign.
According to Sunderland Echo, the window opened just under three weeks ago and the Black Cats have made no incoming additions, with departures confirmed for Dan Neil, Dennis Cirkin, Bertrand Traore and Niall Huggins as contracts expire.
Tottenham have been among the busiest. They added Andy Robertson from Liverpool on a free, Marcos Senesi from Bournemouth on a free, Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton for £52m and Martin Dúbravka from Burnley on a free.
Liverpool brought in Jérémy Jacquet for £55m and Víctor Muñoz for £35m, while Mohamed Salah was released and Ibrahima Konaté joined Real Madrid on a free. Chelsea signed Geovany Quenda, Denner, Dastan Satpaev and Emmanuel Emegha, with Marc Cucurella moving to Real Madrid for £51.8m. Arsenal made Piero Hincapié’s loan permanent and moved out Jakub Kiwior to Porto and Karl Hein to Werder Bremen, both undisclosed.
Newcastle sold Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for £60.5m and let Kieran Trippier join Wolves on a free. Manchester United parted with Rasmus Højlund to Napoli for £43.2m and released Casemiro, Tyrell Malacia and Jadon Sancho. Everton signed Merlin Röhl and Ipswich added Chuba Akpom and Cedric Kipre.
