Prestianni apologises to Benfica fans, says team will return stronger | OneFootball

Gianluca Prestianni has apologised to Benfica supporters for an underwhelming campaign and pledged that the team will come back stronger next season.

According to Glorioso 1904, the 20-year-old Argentine winger shared several photos from the season’s final days in a social media post and addressed fans.

He said the season ended with a bitter taste and expressed regret that the side had not met the standards the club demands.

Benfica’s No 25 added that the aim is to return next term ready to meet every target ahead.

Despite the league campaign having concluded, he could still face an important challenge as he is in Lionel Scaloni’s provisional list for the 2026 World Cup.
