Paris Saint-Germain are shifting their approach under sporting advisor Luis Campos, moving away from the pursuit of marquee signings in favor of building around emerging talent. But growing interest from other clubs could threaten Campos’ future in Paris.
Over the past three years, Campos has been instrumental in PSG’s recruitment of rising stars such as Vitinha, Bradley Barcola and João Neves. Prior to his time in the French capital, he helped build successful squads at AS Monaco and LOSC Lille.
Despite his influence, Campos has yet to agree to a contract extension, raising speculation about his next move.
Earlier this year, Football Transfers reported that Chelsea, Arsenal and clubs in Saudi Arabia are actively trying to lure Campos away. His current three-year deal as PSG’s football advisor expires at the end of the season. The report added that Saudi clubs are prepared to offer him a deal worth €200 million over 10 years.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that Campos remains in talks over a new contract with PSG. Despite recent speculation, he is not a candidate for roles at Manchester United or Chelsea.
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey reported that Campos had discussions with Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United over the past decade, but a move to England has never been particularly appealing.
