Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly confident in securing a full agreement with Lille over goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier (23), with negotiations reportedly in an advanced stage for the Frenchman – according to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins. Les Dogues want a transfer fee of around €55m for Chevalier, whilst the current Champions of Europe are confident over a €40m deal for the Frenchman. Hawkins suggests that bonuses ‘will make the difference’ in the deal, and that Chevalier has agreed to sign a five-year deal with PSG. Foot Mercato reported earlier today that the capital club have reached a verbal agreement over a deal worth €40m, and that only minor details needed to be sorted before the completion of a deal. Hawkins also reported earlier that current PSG no.1 Gianluigi Donnarumma may not leave this summer and that the club are currently considering whether Chevalier and Donnarumma could both compete for a starting role at the club.
