Arsenal could receive a boost ahead of the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain after the Ligue 1 club were dealt an injury scare tonight.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta will be desperate to get the Gunners over the line against PSG, and the Emirates Stadium club have to be on top of their game on May 30th in Budapest.

Arsenal will be praying for some injury boosts as they could do with both Jurrien Timber and Mikel Merino for the game. PSG were forced to withdraw Ousmane Dembele tonight against Paris FC following a knock.

The Frenchman reportedly felt muscle tightness and was taken off as a precaution. The Champions League final is 13 days away and further tests could be carried on Dembele.

Arsenal will be monitoring the situation as facing PSG without him will be a massive boost.

The Ligue 1 club do not have any game until the final of the elite European competition while the Gunners take on Burnley on Monday night before facing Crystal Palace in their last league game of the campaign on Sunday.

Arteta will pray none of his players pick up any knock as they look to win the Premier League title in the coming days.

Victories in their next two games, if Manchester City do not drop points, will be enough to secure their first English top-flight trophy since 2004.

Lifting the title before the Champions League final will be huge for Arsenal, and the players have to get it right in these three games.

They will be making history with a win over PSG as the North Londoners have never won the European trophy before, losing to Barcelona in their last final 20 years ago.
