Members of the fanbase at French champions Paris Saint-Germain made use of the opportunity to have some fun at the expense of both Barcelona and Lamine Yamal on Wednesday.
This came in the buildup to their side’s upcoming showdown with the Blaugrana.
Barcelona and PSG are of course currently locked in action.
In the headline fixture of the week in the Champions League, the former have welcomed tournament holders PSG to Catalunya’s capital for a highly-anticipated clash.
The matchup is a significant one for a whole host of reasons, not least in pitting two of Europe’s standout teams against one another, as well as bringing Luis Enrique back to his former stomping grounds.
Another leading talking point in the buildup to this evening’s action, though, was the Ballon d’Or.
PSG frontman Ousmane Dembélé is fresh off being named world football’s best player last week, a prize to which he beat none other than Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal.
Ahead of kick-off at Montjuïc on Wednesday, the PSG faithful therefore came together to belt out chants of:
”Ousmane Ballon d’Or!”
