PSG are waiting to hear from RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomandé (19)’s decision about the next step of his career move before making a move for the Ivory Coast international, according to RMC Sport’s Fabrice Hawkins. The 19-year-old has made no harm to his blossoming reputation in proving instrumental for Emerse Faé’s Les Éléphants during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Diomandé is the only player in the 21st century to log 10+ dribbles and 10+ chances for his first three World Cup games, Opta has revealed.

PSG are yet to make a concrete approach for Diomandé, but should the latter were to prioritise a move to the back-to-back Champions League winners, the Ligue 1 side would immediately make their move to try and secure his services. Diomandé has already been the subject of a strong interest from Liverpool, as the Reds seek a long-term successor to Mohamed Salah.

Hawkins adds that Liverpool have already submitted bids to RB Leipzig, and that the Bundesliga side are also kept in the dark, so far, about Diomandé’s intentions.
