PSG v Monaco: three Paris players set for return!

This Friday, Paris Saint-Germain (1st) faces Monaco (7th) at the Parc des Princes as part of the 25th day of Ligue 1 2025-2026 (kick-off at 8:45 PM, broadcast on Ligue1+). This Wednesday, L’Equipe confirmed the optimism surrounding the returns of Ousmane Dembélé (28-year-old forward), João Neves (21-year-old midfielder), and Senny Mayulu (19-year-old midfielder).

“He was able to participate normally in the resumption of training on Wednesday after more than three days of rest granted by Luis Enrique. On Tuesday, while his teammates enjoyed their free time, “Ous” made a stop at the PSG Campus to work individually and undergo new physical tests. The plan of the technical and medical staff is clear: to offer him playing time, to allow him to test himself in a competitive context, before the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Chelsea on Wednesday. Senny Mayulu (calf) and Joao Neves (ankle) were able to participate in the session.

As hoped, the 3 players were able to return to training with the group today. Their presence for the match is possible, even though we know the Parisian staff is always cautious. We might learn more with the medical update and the press conference of coach Luis Enrique this Thursday. Starting positions seem a bit distant for now, but not impossible.
