PSG don’t appear to be making any moves with the January transfer window nearing in a few days. Nonetheless, that doesn’t mean the Parisians don’t have any interest in any players.
While the capital club have the money to spend in the winter, they could lay the groundwork to potentially trigger a move later in the summer. PSG have focused on young French talent in recent windows since the arrival of Luis Campos and Luis Enrique.
As a result, LOSC Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi is on the Parisians’ radar, but it’s unlikely that the teenager makes the move to the French capital during the winter window.

ESPN’s Julien Laurens contributed to a piece titled “Transfer window preview: What do Europe’s big clubs need?” In it, Laurens stated that Bouaddi is a main target for Enrique, who is a major fan of the midfielder.
“There is one name at the top of the PSG shortlist and that’s Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi,” Laurens added. “The 18-year-old defensive midfielder is an incredible talent who made his debut at the age of 16. He is a PSG fan, Luis Enrique loves him and he would be the perfect replacement for Fabian Ruiz, who is out of contract in 2027.”
Despite their interest, PSG does have competition for Bouaddi. Real Madrid, Arsenal, and Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on Bouaddi, according to a Footmercato report from this month.
The 18-year-old recently extended his contract, but Lille could let him go for a bid around €60 million. Lille president Olivier Letang is said to have already spoken with representatives from several clubs, with interest in Bouaddi expected to intensify over the next two transfer windows.
