Paris Saint-Germain are willing to meet Atletico Madrid’s asking price for Julian Alvarez (26), which may put them in an advantageous position in the race to sign the Argentine forward, as per a report from The Independent. 

Goncalo Ramos could leave PSG in the summer. The Portugal international’s play style has always seemed at odds with that of Luis Enrique. As a result, Ramos has rarely featured in the big games, and he has played a marginal role once again this season. Despite that, there is interest in acquiring his services. 

Arsenal also able to meet Alvarez valuation

With Ramos linked with an exit, PSG are showing interest in recruiting Alvarez. PSG have “signalled” to their counterparts at Atletico Madrid that they are willing to pay Atletico Madrid’s €125m asking price. The reigning European champions have also held talks with the player’s entourage. The La Liga side are likely to dig in their heels with regard to their valuation. 

The Independent adds that Alvarez favours a move to Barcelona, however, the Catalan club cannot meet the asking price. Arsenal are interested in the Argentine and also can meet the asking price, however, thet are considering how to best spend their budget. The Gunners are also in talks over a move for Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.
