PSG are not looking to change a winning formula this summer, but they know that they can’t keep everything the same. Some players are going to want to leave, and on that list it looks like we can put rotation attacker Kang-in Lee.

Mundo Deportivo in Spain are the latest source to report that Atletico Madrid are keen on signing the South Korea star after the World Cup.

Lee ready for new challenge

We can well understand Kang-in wanting to leave. He’s had all the fun of winning a slew of trophies in Paris, but it doesn’t mean as much when you’re not a regular starter. He’s comfortable in La Liga, and would be playing for a really competitive team there.

His combination of hard work and technical ability is just what Diego Simeone would want – we can see why he’s described as “crazy” about him.

The €30m price tag mentioned in the article is a little cheap, but we’re sure they can do better than that with a bit of negotiation.

PSG are thinking about cutting their losses on one of last summer’s additions, and a couple of teams seem interested.

Mateus Fernandes is attracting a lot of attention from top clubs this summer, and PSG have started to be put in that same bracket. We’re not yet sure how serious the interest is.
