Paris Saint-Germain players would collect about €1m each if they lift the Champions League again on Saturday against Arsenal. According to L'Équipe, the figure mirrors last season, when Paris beat Inter Milan 5-0 to conquer Europe.

The final is at the Puskas Arena in Budapest. Inside the club, the repeated message is that money should not be the motivator, the target is to win.

Bonuses are set before the season, with captains Marquinhos, Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé and Vitinha fronting talks with management. The PSG philosophy under Luis Enrique is to reward trophies only.

In Ligue 1, payments arrive only with the title, as seen with the 14th crown sealed in early May. In Europe, quarter-final or semi-final bonuses are largely symbolic.

Previously, some stars secured personal clauses for a Champions League triumph, creating gaps within the squad. Paris now pursues fairness, and while a few clauses remain, the collective bonus prevails with no stacking.

Sporting adviser Luis Campos has driven an equity-first model. Last season Senny Mayulu, who made three Champions League appearances before scoring in the final, received the same as senior regulars.

The stance is unchanged this season and signals faith in academy graduates. Any player who set foot on the pitch in Europe will receive the full bonus if Paris win, including Quentin Ndjantou, who played three league-phase matches, one from the start, before a hamstring injury sidelined him in January.
