PSG’s Lee Kang-in reaches agreement with Atlético Madrid | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain’s Lee Kang-in (25) is reported to have reached an agreement with Atlético Madrid for a summer transfer since last January, according to Cadena Ser.

After a season in which the South Korean has been unable to break into the starting line-up under Luis Enrique, his departure seems increasingly inevitable. This is why talks between the two clubs have intensified in recent weeks.

Starting in just 19 of the 39 matches he played across all competitions during the 2025-26 campaign, Kang-in proved decisive on only nine occasions, scoring four goals and providing five assists.

Three years after joining PSG, the time now seems to have come for the 25-year-old to start a new chapter in his career, as he is set to return to Spain, where he spent more than 10 years of his life playing for Valencia CF and RCD Mallorca.
