PSP issues derby briefing after Sporting v Benfica, calm operation and minor road incident

The Metropolitan Command of the PSP has issued its post match briefing on the Sporting v Benfica derby, calling the operation largely calm. The police said in a statement that only limited trouble was recorded.
José Mourinho's side won at Alvalade through Andreas Schjelderup at 27' and Rafa Silva at 90+3'. The result lifted Benfica provisionally to second in the Liga Portugal Betclic on 72 points, while Sporting have a game in hand.
The force reported isolated scuffles and assaults between rival supporters, as well as a small fire in the stands.
Two supporters were detained, with their clubs not disclosed.
After the match near Campo Grande, a fan, possibly of Sporting, is said to have been struck by a group of motorbikes. One motorcyclist was detained, saying he was not involved. The injured person was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
