PSV Eindhoven ‘have enquired’ about Lutsharel Geertruida as Leipzig favour sale | OneFootball

According to Sky Sport, PSV Eindhoven have enquired about Lutsharel Geertruida in recent days.

RB Leipzig have preferred a permanent transfer following his loan at Sunderland, which currently appears out of reach for the Dutch champions.

Leipzig plan to accept over €20 million for the Netherlands international, though a new loan has not been ruled out.

Geertruida featured in 30 games for Sunderland as they qualified for the Europa League, but the Premier League club chose not to make the move permanent.

Before joining Leipzig for around €20 million a couple of years ago, he made over 200 appearances for PSV’s rivals Feyenoord Rotterdam.

PSV are led by former Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz, who has overseen three successive Eredivisie titles.
