PSV Eindhoven have reportedly revived their attempts to sign Loum Tchaouna who is coming off an underwhelming first season at Lazio.

The Biancocelesti bought the Frenchman last summer following his breakthrough campaign at Salernitana, but he has thus far failed to leave his mark in the Italian capital. Tchaouna only contributed with two goals and one assist across all competitions, spending his campaign as an understudy for Gustav Isaksen on the right wing.

In recent days, a section of observers tipped the 21-year-old to take his game up a notch under the guidance of Maurizio Sarri who had a massive impact on the careers of several other young players. Nevertheless, it remains to be seen if the former Salernitana man will remain at Formello in the first place.

PSV Eindhoven Keen to Land Loum Tchaouna

According to Italian journalist Lorenzo Lepore, PSV have launched a new attempt to sign Tchaouna after falling short in January. The Eredivisie giants have opened talks with Lazio, expressing their desire to sign the player on loan with an option to buy set at €12-13 million.

Nevertheless, the Biancocelesti are holding out for a transfer fee worth €15-16 million, and they will likely request a more guaranteed formula, perhaps one that includes an obligation to buy upon the completion of certain objectives. The negotiations between the parties are currently ongoing.
