PSV reject West Ham’s €25m loan-to-buy bid for USMNT striker Ricardo Pepi | OneFootball

PSV Eindhoven have officially turned down an offer from West Ham United for Ricardo Pepi. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League side proposed an initial loan with a €25m obligation to buy. PSV are reluctant to sell the striker, with an increased offer required for his departure to take place this month.

Ricardo Pepi has been in fine form so far this season, netting 11 goals in 18 Eredivisie appearances. In all competitions this year, he’s scored 13 times and provided three assists. The US national team striker moved to Eindhoven from FC Augsburg in 2023 in an €11m move. Prior to that, he thrived on loan at FC Groningen and at his boyhood club FC Dallas in the MLS.

PSV have immediately turned down West Ham’s bid for Ricardo Pepi, with the Hammers working hard to sign a striker before next Monday’s deadline. It’s not yet known if the club will make a second offer, but he’s certainly a top target.
