As reported by AD, Moroccan star Ismael Saibari is edging closer to a move from PSV to Bayern Munich. According to reports, Bayern Munich are willing to spend over €50m to bring the Eredivisie player of the season to the Bundesliga. Saibari is currently part of the Moroccan side at the 2026 World Cup, but it is now expected that on his return to club football he will be moving to Germany to sign for Bayern Munich.
Saibari had another fantastic season for PSV as they won the Eredivisie again. After scoring 15 goals and providing 14 assists in 44 games last season, Saibari showed his class once again this past season. In 37 games for the Dutch champions, the 25-year-old scored 19 goals and provided nine assists. Clearly, Bayern Munich have seen enough from the Moroccan to be willing to spend a hefty amount of money on the forward, who can play centrally or out wide. Depending on the final fee, Bayern Munich could be set to break the record sale for PSV, which had previously been the deal that saw Hirving Lozano leave for Napoli in 2019.
