The Czech keeper kept a clean sheet, his first in a Bristol City shirt in their 0-0 draw with Charlton Athletic.
He made two saves and completed two successful run outs, clearing the ball from danger.
Vitek also took three high claims, protecting his box with authority. The only worry would have been his distribution, as he only completed 44% of his passes.
United’s other loanee keeper, Elyh Harrison, fared considerably worse than Vitek.
He conceded two goals as Shrewsbury Town lost to Colchester United 0-2. The young keeper made one save and one run out clearance.
Harrison was asked to pump the ball long on numerous occasions and found a teammate with 10 out of his 20 long balls.
The young striker played 90 minutes in Northampton Town’s 0-2 defeat to Stevenage.
He was inches from opening his account as he hit the woodwork and missed one big chance for his new team.
Wheatley did complete one key pass but he only made four out of his 13 pass attempts as he failed to make any sort of connection with his new teammates.
The England under 19 international was poor in his duels, winning just three out of 11 ground attempts and one out of seven aerial battles.

Gore lost both his aerial battles and was dribbled past four times during the match.
The centre back started for Notts County in their 1-2 defeat to Barrow but was subbed off after 56 minutes of action.
Aljofree completed 74% of his passes and completed one key one. Nonetheless, his radar was off with long balls as he misplaced eight of his nine attempts.
He won three out of his five aerial battles and one out of four ground duels during his time on the pitch.
Collyer only completed his move to West Bromwich Albion yesterday but came on for the last three minutes of his side’s 3-2 victory over Wrexham.
He helped his side hold on to the win and made all four of his passes, winning his only ground duel in the process. The 21-year-old will hope to get his first start next time out against Portsmouth.
The United academy starlet played 68 minutes in Newport’s 2-1 defeat to Grimsby Town, United’s opponent in the Carabao cup later this month.
He made three clearances and three interceptions for his side. Ogunneye also completed two tackles and won an impressive five out of his six ground duels.
The 19-year-old also impressed in the air, winning two out of his three aerial battles for a strong afternoon’s work.
The Ireland youth international was subbed on for the final 11 minutes of Leyton Orient’s 2-2 draw with Stockport.
He made eight out of his nine pass attempts and completed his only dribble attempt.
