Rangers beat Dundee United 4-2 at Ibrox to rise from second to first in the Scottish Premiership.

Ryan Naderi opened the scoring in the 30th minute, turning in after a corner. Dujon Sterling then glanced in a header (40.) before Amar Fatah halved the deficit on the stroke of half time (45.).

Manager Danny Röhl's double change at the break paid off as Djeidi Gassama teed up Thelo Aasgaard to restore the cushion (52.). United lost goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer to injury before the hour, with Dave Richards coming on.

Zachary Sapsford finished a break to make it interesting (72.) after Luca Stephenson's pass, but Bojan Miovski settled it late from distance (85.) moments after Iurie Iovu had struck the post.

Rangers carried the threat throughout, registering 21 attempts with 10 on target and 67.7% possession. United mustered 13 attempts and forced one corner.
