Rangers join race to sign Rennes target Bryan Reynolds | OneFootball

Last week, Sacha Tavolieri reported interest from Stade Rennais in USMNT international Bryan Reynolds (24). He now adds that there is also interest from Scottish side Glasgow Rangers.

Reynolds, a USMNT international (seven caps, one goal), is approaching the final year of his contract at Belgian club KVC Westerlo and is attracting interest from several clubs, including Rennes in Ligue 1. The right-back joined from AS Roma back in 2023 and last season made 40 appearances in all competitions, scoring twice and registering four assists. Since making the move to Belgium, he has made 146 club appearances in all competitions.

Tavolieri understands that Rennes, who next season will return to European competition, have submitted a bid worth €3.8m. However, the KVC Westerlo are more likely to ultimately receive a fee between €4-5m. That is due to the emergence of Rangers’ interest. 

Reynolds is expected to make his final decision in the coming days.
