Raphinha named La Liga Player of the Year | OneFootball

La Liga announced on Friday that Raphinha has won the award for the best player of the 2024/25 season.

The forward from Barcelona outperformed teammates Lamine Yamal, Pedri, and Robert Lewandowski, as well as clubs from rival teams including Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Júnior, Jude Bellingham, Isco, and Ohian Sancet to claim this award.

Despite only winning the Player of the Month award once (August), the Brazilian international stood out throughout the season at the Catalan team, scoring 18 goals and providing nine assists in 36 games in the Spanish league.

In La Liga, he missed just two matches for the blaugrana, who were crowned champions with 88 points.

The award tops what has been the 28-year-old's best-ever season with a total of 34 goals and 22 assists in 57 games for the 2024/25 season in all competitions.
