Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is expected to maintain faith in the talents of youngster Roony Bardghji in the club’s upcoming showdown with Real Madrid.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Saturday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

The season’s final edition of El Clásico is of course set to take place at the Spotify Camp Nou on Sunday.

Emerge with anything other than a defeat, and hosts Barcelona will be assured of their 2nd successive La Liga title.

In training this morning, Hansi Flick therefore tested his XI for the fixture once more.

And according to the aforementioned Sport, included once more in place of the sidelined Lamine Yamal was Roony Bardghji.

Swedish international Bardghji was afforded a starting berth in each of Barcelona’s last two La Liga fixtures, against Getafe and Osasuna.

Owing to both the significance of the occasion, and Marcus Rashford’s fine showing off the bench at El Sadar last time out, though, it had been suggested that the Englishman could step in in Bardghji’s place against Real Madrid.

But as much, at present, looks unlikely, with Rashford again set to be forced to make do with a substitute’s role on Sunday.
