Rasmus Kristensen ‘to return’ to Midtjylland as Eintracht Frankfurt exit nears | OneFootball

Rasmus Kristensen is reportedly close to leaving Eintracht Frankfurt for a return to FC Midtjylland.

Tipsbladet reports that the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms on a contract running until 2031, and that talks between the clubs are at an advanced stage.

Kristensen initially joined Frankfurt on loan from Leeds United two years ago, before the move was made permanent for a reported fee in the region of 9.5 million.

He has since become a regular starter, making 71 appearances for the Bundesliga side.

A graduate of Midtjylland’s academy, he began his senior career there before moving abroad.
