Raya Gets 8, Odegaard With 7.5 | Arsenal Players Rated In Narrow Win Vs Manchester United

Arsenal faced off against Manchester United at Old Trafford earlier this evening as they looked to earn a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 13th minute thanks to Riccardo Calafiori’s effort from point-blank range. Mikel Arteta’s men sat on their lead well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The North London club managed the game well in the second half and earned a narrow 1-0 win at the Theatre of Dreams.
Let’s take a look at how each Arsenal player fared during the clash against the Red Devils.
He made a handful of important saves at the back and earned a vital clean sheet away from home.
RB: Ben White – 7/10
White was solid when defending inside his half and had a couple of bright moments in the opponent’s half.
CB: William Saliba – 7.5/10
He was a rock at the back and passed the ball accurately during the game.
CB: Gabriel – 7/10
Gabriel cleared the danger when needed and won his fair share of aerial duels.

LB: Riccardo Calafiori – 7.5/10
Calafiori didn’t do much wrong when defending inside his half and scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute.
CM: Martin Odegaard – 7.5/10
He linked up play well with others around him, but there was no goal for him.
CM: Martin Zubimendi – 7/10
Zubimendi anchored the midfield well but offered very little in the final third.
CM: Declan Rice – 6.5/10
He was not shy of having a strike at goal but struggled to impress today.
RW: Bukayo Saka – 6.5/10
Saka had a couple of bright moments in the game but was mostly quiet on the right flank.
ST: Viktor Gyokeres – 6/10
The Swedish talent never looked like he would score.
LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times in the first half and was replaced in the 59th minute.

Havertz made one decent run with the ball.
